Simulations
This project was
performed in
2006 with the
aim of wind
analysis for 202
meters WTC tower
in Shiraz. With
developments of
software and
hardware
industries, a
professional
team using CFD
simulations can
handle the tower
wind analysis in
real scale and
inaccurate and
time consuming
wind tunnel tests are
completely
unnecessary.
Computer aided
analysis can be
used to verify
the effect of
different
parameters in
short time and
low costs. In
this project the
effect of
different
parameters were
clarified with a
close
cooperation to
architecture
team.
Proper angle
Determination of
the building and
the architecture
with the
consideration of
wind direction
for pedestrian
comfort and wind
circulation
minimization to
control the
noise pollution.
Helicopter
landing
requirements in
critical stormy
conditions.
Weather
conditions
requirements for
using the
outdoor pool at
140 meters
height.
Window opening
design with the
consideration of
wind direction
for residents
comfort.
Architectural
design with the
consideration of
prevailing wind
angle for
concert on
sloped roof.

Analysis of Wind
Flow in a Dense
Urban Area
This project was
performed in
2012 to study
the effect of
Urban
Architecture on
air pollution
trap. The effect
of pollution
from stationary
and mobile
sources in
various wind
conditions was
studied using
CFD simulations.
In this project
a large and
dense urban area
was modeled in
Arya Alborz
Company and
numerical
simulations for
different
situations such
as wind velocity
and direction
were studied.
Based on
comprehensive
simulations of
this project,
deep insight
into urban
architecture
effect on air
pollution
management was
produced in Arya
Alborz
engineering
group.

and Heat
Transfer
Analysis in a
Building Block
Using CFD
Simulations
This project was
executed in 2013
to study the
city block
architecture
design with the
consideration of
energy
consumption
optimization.
With proper
design of wind
break, energy
loss can be
minimized during
winter. In this
regard, the
exact geometry
of a 40-storey
tower is
created.
Considering the
wind speed
variations with
height, heat
dissipation
increases on
surfaces.
Precise CFD
simulations for
air flow around
the tower and
thermal analysis
inside the tower
was performed.
Based on
comprehensive
simulations and
sensitivity
analysis of
different
parameters, deep
insight into
building energy
optimization
using CFD
simulations was
developed in
Arya Alborz
engineering
group.

This project was
performed in
2013 to study
the effect of
different
parameters on
comfort and
saving energy.
Today in
industrialized
countries
architecture is
innovated with
the
consideration of
reducing energy
consumption. In
this project
different
strategies for
energy
consumption
reduction were
studied using
CFD simulations
and a deep
insight into
energy
optimization in
buildings was
provided in Arya
Alborz Company.
