This project was
performed in
2005 to Study
the Dynamic
Forces exerted
to the offshore
structures. In
this project a
3D model of an
offshore
structure was
created. Using
two phase flow
CFD simulation
the dynamic
forces created
with different
types of waves
was studied.
Getting into an
insight of
dynamic force
can widely be
used for
offshore
structure
design. Also
wave simulation
and force
studies can be
used for
offshore power
plant operation
with wave
energy. With a
deep insight
into wave
simulation in
Arya Alborz
Company,
capabilities for
wave energy
converter or
power plant
design are
available.
